"Ryan, the owner, came out and reviewed the trees we wanted removed and trimmed. He found problems (rot) with trees that we weren't aware of and told us the options for saving them to the extent possible. He helped us through the permitting process. We worked out the contract by Email and phone calls. The work crew used the contract as the instructions of what to do, so it was worthwhile writing in all the details. My wife was particularly concerned about controlling damage to adjacent trees, shrubs, ground plants and the lawn as the big trees were brought down. We went over it all with the crew when they came out. They brought down the cuttings in a gentle manner with ropes and protected small plants with garbage cans over them. They cleaned up well when they were done. The crew did not initially understand that the tree trunk pieces were to be hauled away. I pointed this out as they were wrapping up their work. Although they questioned that the contract indicated that to be done, there was no argument. They arranged for a pickup in the next couple of days. So, we are happy with the end result."
